Administrative information
Date and duration
Internships are 5-monts long and begin on February 1; they finish at the end of June (excluding special cases such as internships abroad).
February holidays: see your host team about this (once you have started your internship, you are under the team’s responsibility). However, as the internship lasts 5 months and finishes at the end of June, this must not have an adverse effect on your work.
Internship agreement
This information is intended for Master’s students registered at ISTIC only (this excludes students registered at Insa, ENS, etc.). You will soon be starting your internship. An agreement will be drawn up between you, the host laboratory and the university. In order to do this, you must provide:
- the contact information of the host laboratory,
- the subject of the internship and the dates,
- the name of the supervisor,
- a civil liability insurance certificate,
- an individual accident insurance certificate,
- a pre-paid medium-sized envelope (~16 x 22cm) marked with the address of the laboratory.
For students doing their internship at IRISA or INRIA-Rennes, you only need to provide the insurance certificates, which you should give to the IRISA/INRIA staff when you go to sign the agreement (you will be notified by email).
Internship agreements at ISTIC are managed by Brigitte Bachelot (istic-stages-info@univ-rennes1.fr).
